Québec Fishing

Lake Ogascanan Lodge & Outpost
Lake Ogascanan is 15 miles long with numerous long, narrow, sheltered bays that provide interesting shorelines to fish. It gets its name from the native word for fish hatchery. Ogascanan is a natural hatchery for Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout. Québec fishing at its finest!*

Sasseginaga Outpost Fishing & Hunting
Our outpost home, Lake Sasseginaga, is known to locals by its native name, "Lake of Many Islands"; the many shoals and unique structure of our lakeside camp create the ideal living conditions for our main catch, Walleye. Northern Pike and Lake Trout thrive in our waters, too, making for an excellent haul every time.*

Square-Tail Lodge Wilderness Fishing
Fly fish the Broadback River for trophy Brook Trout. Also, spin fish our extensive lake system for exceptional Northern Pike and Walleye angling. Most fly fisherman can expect to catch a trophy brookie of 4 pounds or more during their week with us. Large daily catches of walleye are to be expected and pike in the 15 to 20 pound range are not uncommon. *

Jack Hume Outdoor Adventures: Fishing
Quebec’s sub arctic tundra is not only home to the world’s largest herd of migrating caribou but it is also home to numerous lakes and rivers that are crystal clear and abound with brook trout, lake trout, landlocked char and northern pike. *
